Use eligibility and possible-fit results

Run a possible-fit check

GrantPro compares stored applicant-type and organization signals with catalog information. The result is not an agency determination.

  1. Confirm that the organization profile describes the intended applicant.
  2. Open Eligibility or the opportunity detail and run the available check.
  3. Read both the result and its explanation before deciding whether to investigate further.
  • Possible fit means continue reviewing, not that the applicant is eligible.
  • A negative signal may reflect a clear mismatch in stored applicant type.

Handle Unknown

Unknown means the stored source or profile does not support a reliable conclusion.

  1. Open the official notice.
  2. Find the eligible-applicants and special-conditions sections.
  3. Compare those requirements with current organization facts and obtain qualified review when the language is uncertain.
  • Do not change an organization fact merely to obtain a different result.
  • GrantPro does not guarantee funding or eligibility.

If the result conflicts with the notice

The official notice controls.

  1. Stop relying on the GrantPro result.
  2. Verify the opportunity number and applicant profile used for the comparison.
  3. Report the public source and conflicting field to support without including private application material.
